Dog Owner, Not a Dog Person

I have owned dogs for most of the past twenty years, about as long as I have been on social media in one form or another.

As a librarian, I was known to bring my dog with my wife and me when I went to library meetings.

I cast myself as a dog person on social media.  I found people who loved animals followed me as well as pet food and pet products.  These all boosted my numbers, but I have to admit, I am a dog owner, not a dog person.

My wife is a wonderful dog person.  She loves to rescue dogs and works with no-kill shelters.  She remembers to bring home treats, toys and likes to take them on car rides.

Me, I feed them, water them and potty them.  Just the basics.

My wife, bless her heart, is a dog person.

Like I said earlier, I'm a dog owner, not a dog person.

Doesn't Santa, hear from children all around the world, but he only reads those from Sioux City.   Another thing didn't compute. 3.   It may have been later that year, or the next, my sister and I were at my grandparents house.  We were staying there because Mom was in the hospital.  We didn't k...
