Monday Morning

Monday morning October 14th I will start back to work after a six week time off for a total knee replacement.  I discovered a few things about myself in that time.

I was/am burned out from nineteen years of work in the library field.  In that time I have gone through four directors soon to be five.  Much of my most recent stress is from losing a very good director.

My home is not conducive to the writer's life.  Two bedrooms, too full of stuff, three dogs and two cats.

I am not the writer that I think I am.  I thought I thought that I would write every day when I wasn't doing physical therapy.  All I wanted to do was sleep, do social media, and watch television.

I am not ready to quit my day job.

Maybe this blog will help get me back on track.

Doesn't Santa, hear from children all around the world, but he only reads those from Sioux City.   Another thing didn't compute. 3.   It may have been later that year, or the next, my sister and I were at my grandparents house.  We were staying there because Mom was in the hospital.  We didn't k...
